Day 1-Depart Florence-Overnight Stop
Depart Florence and head to your overnight stop
Day 2-New York
Enjoy breakfast and check out and depart for New York City where you will enjoy lunch on your own upon arrival. This afternoon you will meet your local guide for a tour of Lower Manhattan. The tour includes the famous buildings and colorful districts such as SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Garment District, the Financial District and Ground Zero. After the tour, check into your hotel in Manhattan and freshen up before departing for dinner at a popular restaurant. Your day will end with a fantastic Broadway Show.
Day 3-New York City
Enjoy breakfast, them board your motorcoach and head for Battery Park at the lower end of Manhattan where you will board the Statue Cruises Ferry. Cruise to Liberty Island where you will visit the Statue of Liberty. The statue was an international gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States. Your enhanced visit will include and audio tour which will guide you through the unique history of Liberty Island from its time as a fort through the construction of Statue of Liberty and its establishment as a National Monument. You will also visit the Statue of Liberty Museum which features 3 interactive galleries that tell the statues history in thought provoking ways. Each gallery is designed to inspire visitors. After your visit board the ferry and cruise to Ellis Island a landmark which symbolizes America's immigrant heritage. The museum is designed as a self guided museum with 3 floors of audio/visual displays and exhibits detailing the history of immigration process from 1912 to 1954. Your enhanced visit will include and audio tour through all 3 levels of the historic main building while allowing you to vividly relive the immigrant experience through first hand immigration accounts. You will also have the opportunity to see the Wall of Honor which list the immigrants that arrived on Ellis Island. Board the ferry to return to Battery Park and proceed to the 9/11 Memorial for admission to the National 9/11 Memorial Museum which is dedicated to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 afterwards enjoy dinner at a wonderful restaurant in Manhattan.
Day 4-New York City
After breakfast depart for a morning tour of Rockefeller Center, New York City's historic landmark. After lunch on your own in the area, you will enjoy a tour of NBC studios. See the studios where your favorite shows are made like Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and more. In addition you will get a behind the scenes look at the TV production process and learn about script writing, producing and the way TV content reaches your home. After the tour enjoy another delicious dinner at a Manhattan restaurant. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.
Day 5-New York City-Overnight Stop
Following breakfast, check out and meet your guide for a tour of Upper Manhattan which will include Rockefeller Center, The Lincoln Center, United Nations, Fifth Avenue, Harlem, St. John Divine Cathedral, St Patrick's Cathedral, and Central Park. After lunch on your own you will depart for the Empire State Building's observation deck for a spectacular view of New York City's 5 burrows and New Jersey. Later you will travel to your overnight stop, dinner will be on your own this evening
Day 6- Overnight stop-Florence
Depart from your overnight stop with fond memories of your time in New York City.
